rumours at work

I won't say the name of where i work. But a rumour went round about me, causing me to lose my job. The rumour was not true either. Is there anything I can do to get my job back?

Please be aware that I am not going to say where i work or what the rumour is, sorry.

Either go and see CAB or all the ACAS helpline
The Acas helpline number is 0300 123 1100. It is available Monday to Friday 8am-6pm.

The company is likely to have an official complaint procedure so make one.

Sorry to hear about your situation. Have you just been given notice of dismissal or have you already left your employment?

How long were you working there? If it's less than 12 months you have fewer options.

thank you for your advice everyone. They just decided to take me off of the shifts, and not tell me at all. The manager believes the other employees over me, not allowing me to have a say to my side of the story. But thank you all for the advice it's really helpful!😊 I'm looking for new jobs now.
