My braces stopped hurting after tightening about 3/4 days after. It still sometimes hurt to bite down on harder items of food, but the pain had mainly gone and was bearable. The tightening itself doesn't pose any problem for going to boxing, but have you boxed before with your braces on? If you have then yeah it would be fine to go to boxing the saIf you boxing the same week. Good thing to note, with the pain from tightening still apparent, you might just be more irritable and might get angry whilst boxing, so try not to lash out too much.
