The tutor reference: what is mentioned in it?

What is mentioned in it? Does it mention exams took, grades along with dates? Mainly asking that because of retakes and don't fancy wasting any choices of university on a no hoper.

I should be visiting college today but in case I forget I thought I'd post here.

I never saw my reference, wouldn't mind having done so and was told by my tutor that I could. Just never actively bothered about it, then forgot about it.

Any help greatfully appreciated.
