Help with Business and German personal statement

Hi everyone - I'm in deseperate need of some pointers to help me with a personal statement for a business and German joint honours course.
I cannot find anything anywhere for anyone applying for joint honours with language.

I'm applying for Joint Honours language...but two languages, so not quite the same.

For the German, I would just discuss what you like about it (history? lit? any visits to the country?) and how it relates to business – probably that German is the most spoken language in Europe, central to much business and political happenings. But you should probably discuss other things that will come up in the course, like history and literature.
