How do I make friends in sixth form?

I am moving to a new sixth form where I will know about 5/6 people (4 of which are moving from my school). It is a very big sixth form with lots of people moving there from other schools, however lots of them come from the same 2 or 3 schools and I’m a bit nervous that everyone will be staying in their groups.

Also, I’m ok with talking to people in lessons, I don’t have a problem with that, but I don’t really know how to make classroom friendships into stronger ones.

I am not too worried about it but it’s something that is in the back of my mind all the time and it would really help if I had some advice so that I can enjoy my holiday :smile:
