Will the STEM building opening next year be available to computer science students?

The new building isn't what you think it is. It is basically another seminar and lecture site with additional labs for Chemistry, Biology and workshop rooms for Engineering, not sure if there will be labs for CS students. The facilitities will be available for all students but it seems like a publicity stunt more than anything, for example open days and parent information days will be based there.

Hi Harry,

Yes it will be available to computer science students :smile:

There is a brand-new electronics/computing lab in the building which will be used by Computing Science students on appropriate modules.There are also general seminar rooms on the ground floor which may be used by students from all science disciplines.
