How to stop rumours??

Ok so my girlfriend and I have been going out since we were 11 and 12 and we are now 16 and 17. So she has a throat infection but a girl i rejected a couple of weeks ago is spreading rumours that actually she has the marks around her mouth because weve been blowing each other which isnt true. This has been going on for over a month and its showing no signs of stopping. Advice would be greatly appreciated

You probably visibly react when people ask you about it.
all you need is stoicism
I love spreading rumours, and I love it even more when I get attention from my victims. If you don't pay attention and even laugh at it, it will stop.

Just don't respond at all, that's usually the best way to stop continued bullying too
