what degree should i go for ?
I want to go down the road of children's mental health and work alongside schools but I don't know what degree i should do as i would like to stay northern Ireland.

That sounds quite broad.
Educational Psychologist, Child Psychotherapist, CAMH Nurse come to mind when you say child MH/school work.
There is supposedly a new role/training path coming out though - maybe give this a read?
