I've deferred my entry (economics) for the following year and just noticed that the entry requirement for the next year requires maths A Level (which I have not done) unlike this year (which did not require maths) . Will this affect me?

You have a CONFIRMED place. You were accepted last year on the basis of the grades/subjects you were taking.
They cannot and will not withdraw that place.
If you want reassurance then email the Uni - but the answer will be that it makes no difference to your place.
