Can I apply to a uni higher than my predicted grades?

I've been predicted ABB for maths, chem, physics :frown:

Can I Apply to a uni that requires AAB, AAA or even A*AA?
Even if I can, there's a high change they will reject me right?

Thank you for the help

You can apply but you may find your school will try and stop you as the likelyhood is you will get rejected from A*AA and possibly AAA. AAB is worth a try definitely. It would be wise to choose a mix of grades. 2 above your predicted grades 2 or 3 at you predicted grades and maybe 1 below. The general advice used to be to have 1 or 2 below your grades as an insurance but given these days most universities have surplus spaces if you were rejected by all your choices you could apply through ucas extra so the need for a slightly lower graded university isnt as great
