I am so screwed!!!!!! :( money been taken out my account!!
I don't usually check my transactions for some reason this morning I did and it turns out that £86.50 has been taken out of my bank every month for the the last 8 months!!!
And I have had no idea!!!! My mom.is going to kill me.
I am so so annoyed!!!
I told my sister and she told me it 'serves me right' (I didnt find it funny)
And that I dont need to tell my.parents.
But I wont be at peace until I have so I'm going to tell them after I've called my bank and stopped this money from been taken out in the future.
Need to prepare myself for what my mom has to say!!!

He'd be the one bringing the booze because he's the only one that checked his bank account and has money in it. That's what intelligent people do. I check mine every day. Takes about 10 seconds of your life!

I've been defrauded on multiple occasions and each time my bank has resolved it fairly quickly. Just remain calm.

Phone the bank and find out the name of the person or company the money went to before you say anything. I had a similar scare but when the bank told me the name of the company I thought "oh yeah" because I remembered I had set up a direct debit with them
Its going to fall into one of 3 categories:
1) Fraud
2) Innocent mistake - someone has put the wrong digit on a direct debit
3) A direct debit you have forgotten about
Go online (assuming you have online banking) and into the direct debits page where you will get more information about these payments. If you still don't recognise the payee then phone your bank.

In this day and age, it is prudent to check your account on a regular bases.
8, months is a hell of along time to not realise money is going out.
I hope you have contacted your bank and stopped the payments.
Telling your mum I would suggest is the least of your worries, more importantly surely is the money you have lost?
