Does tutoring for free require any legal stuff?

I know that to be a private tutor there are a few legal aspects to cover like self-assessments, tax returns, disclosure & barring service etc. I'm assuming these things don't need to be carried out if I'm just looking to tutor for free, or am I wrong? Thanks

If you’re doing it for free a DBS would still be advisable, it would give the individual confidence in your record. So that’s still a good idea. I don’t know if there are any voluntary agencies for tutoring, if so volunteers don’t usually need to pay for a DBS.
You could still get a dbs check done. Mainly for their peace of mind if you are tutoring people who you don't really know.
You shouldn't need the other stuff.
