Was the CMTUA previously the MAT paper?

I want to study computer science and I wanted to know if the CMTUA was previously the MAT paper for Cambridge ?

no, two different tests.

CTMUA is just another name for the TMUA which was principally used by Durham but accepted by many other universities. I believe the only difference is that the marking of the papers for Cambridge applicants are expedited.

Not quite, CTMUA was only just recently introduced.

Before that you had to sit the Computer Science Admissions Test (CSAT) as well as the Thinking Skills Assessment (TSA) for some colleges.
