Does University of Leeds usually lower grade requirement for clearing?
I'm planning to do economics, and my required grades are AAA but at this point I"ll be happy if I can even get AAB/ ABB. If I'm unable to get in with my grades, is it still possible to get in through clearing?
Do you mean :
1) 'I have an offer for Economics at Leeds - will I still get into Leeds with these grades?' (No-one knows - possibly, but don't bank on it).
2) If Leeds rejects me for Economics in August, can I still get into the same course at Leeds with lower grades through Clearing?' (No - they have already said they don't want you.)
3) I don't have an offer from Leeds for Economics, but I fancy my chances with 'below' grades in August. (No-one knows - depends how many spaces they have and how desperate they are for students. Econ at any RG Uni is competitive so a reduction in required grades is unlikely.)
