Driving lesson prices
I'm trying to figure out if my local instructors are too expensive or not (not that i have a choice), is 230 pounds for a block of 10 hours a lot or reasonable?

That is actually really good. My driving instructor is £25 per lesson, and still that is awesome. There is a shortage of driving instructors as a result of the pandemic, with there being a delay in testing - hence, many instructors are charging around £30-£35.
