Hey,
For me, the best way to use the specification is by making each point into a question.

Example:
Glycolysis is the first stage of anaerobic and aerobic respiration.

I would reword this into:
What is the first stage of aerobic respiration?

Then later in the week, I’d test myself on those question. This allows me to cover all spec points whilst also doing practice at the same time!
I agree with the above poster... turning every specification point into a direct question - or at least relating it directly to the specification - is a very deadly and stealthy method. It shows that you know everything in the specification... there’s no way that a question in an exam paper will confuse you, if you can manage to successfully do this method properly.
