Philosophy EPQ with Economics Degree

Going into Year 13 next year, I am in the initial stages of starting my EPQ. After sixth form, I want to study Economics at a top university (hopefully Russell Group). I am extremely interested in Philosophy and have chosen a philosophy related topic as my basis for an EPQ. I was just wondering, however, if a more economics-based EPQ would be preferred when applying for an economics degree. In short, will a philosophy-based EPQ count for less than say an economics-based EPQ, when applying for an economics degree?

People on here will have good ideas and information I am sure. I suppose you could check with some RG universities which you are interested in and ask them directly?

If you find out that doing a Philosophy question does not end up disadvantaging you then I would maybe do the topic which interests you most.
