Is this sexual assault?
A drunk boy put his arm around my shoulder and rested his head on my other shoulder and he asked to kiss me 3 times and I said no to each one. He didn’t force a kiss on me and that was as far as contact went
No, that wasn't sexual assault.
I get why it might feel like it was sexual assault-
Stuff that makes you feel uncomfortable and not safe is totally not on /no matter what/ and can in way make you feel assaulted.
But the best descriptor is sexual harassment.
Harassing is sadly very common in clubs n stuff and there isn't alot that can be done, bar friends backing you up or trying our best to exit this situation.
It's not something you should put up with- but it just is the way of it.
Hope you aren't entirely put off from going out becuz of this! Nights out are and should be fun! Xx
