Asking for an extension to respond to an offer

I have a few offers and I am currently also on a waiting list for my dream uni. How can I ask for an extension to respond to my offer so I can make an informed decision?

Any tips?

a) Check to see if there is an option to send a message from within the applications portal.
b) If there isn't one, drop the admissions team(s) (check the programme(s) page) an e-mail.

UK Uni, not asking for a deposit? Just accept and reject later.
