University of Sheffield or Edinburgh for chemistry BSc firm choice?

Help! I can't decide which university would be better to choose. I've heard that Edinburgh has low student satisfaction, is there a reason why? Are discovery modules Edinburgh's equivalent to optional modules? How are the people/vibe at both universities? > :smile:

I would pick Edinburgh for the course, respectability, employability, and city, but Sheffield if you're looking for a more social atmosphere in student life. Although Edinburgh is still very sociable. I can't generalise too much but Edinburgh tends to be a bit more on the posh end of people than Sheffield, but there will always be posher people at Russel Group Unis. Personally I would pick Edinburgh as its 'known' as typically a better university than Sheffield. Hope this helps :smile:
