Philosophy and theology- can I become a diplomat- if so how

The diplomat career path looks cool. I’m doing thr Phil/Theo degree….. is this possible?
If so: what do I need to do?

You don't need any specific degree to go into the civil service - diplomatic service (except the economics stream). You just need to get a good degree result in any degree, and then meet the requirements for the role and perform well in interview(s) and other assessments. I gather civil service interviews are very structured though, but there's a lot of information available online about how they work and what they are looking for. The diplomatic service doesn't have anything specifically different about it other than being a more popular area and thus more competitive in the fast stream I believe though - so the process would be the same as for any other civil service role as a grad I believe.
