Self teach AS further maths for natural sciences?

Hi, I’m currently in year 12 studying maths, chemistry and biology with hopes to study natural sciences at Cambridge. I initially wanted to take biology modules but now am really interested in chemistry so will apply through the physical route but feel I am at a disadvantage due to not studying further maths. Would self teaching AS further maths help my application?

Yes, as long as it doesn't affect studying your other subjects and their results, and if you take the AS exam too, then you can show how well you did with self-studying as well. Best of luck xx
