Adults thinking that there's a big maturity difference between 13 and 14.
How is it that when an Adult over 30 sees a 14 year old dating a 13 year old it is viewed as "Grooming." or that the "13 year old is just too young." but when a teenager sees it it's just a normal couple?
I suspect you're asking this question in the knowledge of one specific adult that holds that view, but I don't think adults in general hold it. To my mind (as an adult over 30) a 13 year old and a 14 year old are basically the same age. I certainly wouldn't be able to necessarily even see that they're a different age if I saw them in the street, nor would I think that one is 'grooming' the other. They're both too young to be doing anything sexual at that age anyway, so the 'dating' should be a reasonably limited concept anyway. But in the event it isn't, I wouldn't blame one over the other for but based on their ages.
