Postgraduate Finance

Hi,

I'm currently in my third year of university and looking to apply for post-graduate (pre-registration) courses in occupational therapy (note, my current degree is not science related).
All of the courses i am interested in are at least 2 years, and i'm struggling to find relevant information relating to student finance. I was wondering if anyone else has been through the same process, and that i am able to receive a tuition grant for both years.
My worry being that one year will have to be self-funded, something i cannot afford.

Thanks for any advice

According to the gov.uk (and a couple of uni websites), postgrad pre-reg healthcare courses may be eligible for student finance:

If you post on the Ask Student Finance England forum with the name of your course and the uni, the experts from SFE will reply to you (NB they work regular office hours so you might have to wait until Monday for a reply):

If you are eligible for student finance and you apply to a uni in England, then you would also be able to apply to the NHS Learning Support Fund for additional support - a £5,000 per year training grant, expenses for placements, etc.
