Paying university fees

If you graduate and the university has not taken payments. You did your part in contacting the university after every payment date for not taking the fees.
What happens in this case? Would there be a period of time after which the university can't ask for the money?

I've never heard of a university doing this.
Were you funding the course yourself?

I have never heard of this either. You normally pay upfront (albeit in stages)
Bear in mind that a UK University can withdraw a degree at any time - even 20 years although exceedingly rare.
However I have seen people refused access to Graduation Ceremonies because of a library fine not being paid. You don’t get your certificate until after the ceremony.
There may be a UK law about chasing unpaid debts but they can refuse to confirm you as a graduate

Right, I would keep the money so that when they ask for it you can provide it.
