University that allows 3 subjects

guys I'm based in the UK looking for a university that has a placement/study abroad year of sorts AND lets me do three subjetcs... and is in a nice area T-T

Does anyone know a uni that lets you mix subjects?
Mixing two subjects is very common, mixing 3 is not.

Check out Newcastle, they used to have a very impressively flexible combined honours programme
Do you mean 3 separate degrees? I'm not to sure about that but I know some universities offer courses that have different subjects integrated, (For example 'Economics and politics' , 'Biology with entrepreneurship ' or even 'Film Studies and Chinese' )

Maybe look into something like that?

Like PPE (Philosophy, Politics and Economics)?? Or you could do joint honours, like an Archeology and History BA? but I’ve not heard of anyone getting 3 degree through one course? Please be more specific.

i’m looking for something with ‘majors’ or ‘minors’ in America, so even though it’s not 3 whole degrees as sorts it has a major and minor subject.

Often that's the difference between a "with" (75:25) and an "and" (50:50) joint degree (although not always), but that's still usually only two subjects.

Which subjects are you looking to mix? There are some standard 3 subject degrees (EPP, PPE, some language degrees) but it'll help if you're more specific about what combinations you're looking for.

Hey @mangokitty,

Have you considered looking at degrees where you have a lot of flexibility in which modules you take? For example, at my university (Kent university) in your first year of Psychology you get to pick two optional modules which can come from any other school. Often people pick anthropology or evolution based optional modules.

Doing a subject that allows you to have more flexibility in modules will allow you the opportunity to study a variety of subjects. You can usually find the modules on the universities website.

I hope this helps.
