How to make flashcards for history?

I am currently in year 10 and im wondering how to make flash cards for history (Edexcel). For my science topics i have been using the specification to make my flash cards and im wondering if i can do the same thing for history. Any help would be appreciated.

I know this doesn't directly answer your question but consider using Quizlet if you already haven't, it's basically online flash cards of which you can make your own. Saves time and space, and it has worked excellently for my revision and I'm in my last year of A-Levels.
