History EPQ help

I was thinking about doing my EPQ on the impact of the British Empire on modern India but I don't know where to start. My supervisor also said I need to narrow the topic down a bit, so any ideas how I could narrow it or what to focus on?

Look at the economic impact and explore how british colonial rule shaped the Indian economy and its long-term consequences. Analyse areas like trade, agriculture, industrialization, infrastructure development, and the emergence of economic policies that still influence India today. Some other stuff you could look at is political impact, how has it changed before and after colonisation. If I was you focus about the infrastructure and any introduction of new archicture that is used from the british emprire

I would also suggest you to talk about East India Company and events like the Jalianwala bagh massacre. Also, make sure to not only look at India as a whole, but also at specific states. U can do this!
