Is Zante busy in August?

My friend and I are planning a trip to Laganas, Zante in late August, but I’m worried the strip is going be empty after some things I’ve read. We’re going the week of the 21st. Has anyone else been at this time and comment on how it was? Just don’t want to book anything if it isn’t going to be busy.

Probably past it’s peak, but I doubt it would be dead or that you can’t make it a great holiday.
People only go to Laganas for one reason, the place is pretty much full of bars & clubs for drunk Brits in their late teens & early 20s. So I assume your not after cultural excursions although the Ionian islands are beautiful if you depart the towns with nightlife strips.

me and my mates are going there at that time too, we arrive the 28th
