Hi there. I’m needing to transfer my tenancy for Steel City as I’m doing a placement year abroad. It’s £125 a week for 51 weeks. Can anyone give me advice on how to find someone to take it over? I’m getting very stressed about it!

Hi!

I looked for a spare room to rent last year as I was moving to a new city for my placement year and the 2 places I looked at the most were Spare Room and Facebook. If you put an ad up on Spare Room and on any groups on Facebook for your uni or housing in the area you should get it out to a wide range of people. If your accommodation is private student halls, the company may be able to help you so I would advise contacting them and asking for their advice - they may have a waiting list or be able to suggest where else to advertise it.
