Work Experience for a part time Job
Over the past year I've been really struggling to land myself a job, so I've decided to start doing work experience at a charity shop. Has anyone done the same thing before and ended up landing a job from it or is it a waste of time?

I think the managers of charity shops would much prefer having to not pay volunteers so are unlikely to want to give full jobs. There is a chance, but you might be better off applying to coffee shops or supermarkets or restaurants instead. But volunteering/work experience may make you more attractive to employers or unis in the future.
