T level engineering core exam results messed up??

FYI. Just finished year 12, doing level 3 Engineering 8712.

I have gotten my results back
I got an A in my Employer set project.
But on core exam 1 and 2 I got an F???
What does that mean
Everyone in my class got an F.
Regardless of score...
Did city and guilds or someone mess up really badly?

According to the specification an F isn't even one of the grade options (it's A*-E or U for the exam component), so that certainly sounds weird. If this is on a results slip put together by your college then it might just be a mistake within your centre, what have staff members said about it?
