Hello,

Currently completing my pre-employment checks for a role in civil service,

Can you leave some jobs out that are irrelevant or too short to be included?

Will that impact the outcome of my pre-employment check?

You have to account for the last 5 years

The application form says the last 3 years.

I'm asking about the relevancy and duration of the jobs.

Well you need to not leave any gaps in between, so you have to account for the whole last three years

I have some unemployed gaps, so was wondering how to include them. I guess I just put it down as unemployed.

That's ok, there's an option where you can select unemployed (on benefits or not) depending on your situation at the time.
