Ipad AND laptop
One Gran gave my daughter a refurbished lap top...it seems good. Then the other gran gave £1000 for an ipad / laptop. Any point in getting an ipad for note taking and use the laptop for assignments? Daughter just going in to her 1st year.
How useful it would be depends on the course, but it's by no means a ridiculous notion regardless of what course your daughter is taking. Whenever I'm on campus, almost everyone has a laptop and an IPad or tablet on the table. It makes work very convenient so if you have the resources to get both, I say it's not a bad idea
