Best unis to apply to for scholarships

Which unis should I apply to for maximum chance of getting scholarships and bursaries that can cover the costs. I know many unis offer these but which offer most?
Well that really depends on your circumstances and where you live. If you for example live in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets or some of the adjacent local authorities, you'll be eligible for a great deal of scholarships and bursaries at Queen Mary University. But of course, this isn't helpful if you live anywhere else. How much money you'll get from scholarships will really depend on your circumstances and so there isn't a straight answer, but really, if you have a maintenance loan and some scholarships and bursaries, you'll do well economically anywhere you go. Really focus on getting in the university you want, you'll be able to sort out the economical aspect later on, lots of support for students at all universities in the UK!

If you are a UK domiciled, then student loans are the way to go for funding. Scholarships, grants and bursaries (if eligible) top up loans rather than cover the whole cost of tuition fees and living expenses. They can be offered by unis, businesses and charities, and often aim to widen participation or fund students whose circumstances align with their work. There is a comprehensive database here:
