Volunteering in Year 12
Hi,
I'm currently in year 12 and was wondering if anyone had advice on the best type of volunteering to do on the weekends that looks best on a uni application/CV? I would be interested in studying something along the lines of HIstory/Languages/International Relations.
Or is it best just to do some kind of charity volunteer work with no relation to my degree choices? Charity work still interests me anyway so I don't mind doing that.

Maybe a charity book shop like Oxfam, or a local library, see if a local museum does any volunteering or work experience.
If you want a random volunteering you can do hospital or a old peoples home.
personally i dont know whats better volunteering relating to a degree or not. But if you want to write about it in a personal statement you will need to relate it back to the degree so you can get creative
