Accepted a job offer but want to interview with another role

I've already agreed to the induction for a job. But I've also got an interview from a job role I really would rather do as its closer by a walkable distance, is more hours and pays more. The interview is tomorrow. So I think I've planned to be honest and say I've got a job offer already but am open to dropping it if I get confirmation before Sat (induction day).
Ideally, I'd love to do both because I want as many hours and the one I've agreed to is a temp role anyway. What do people think? I won't be guaranteed speedy confirmation before Sat.

Go for it if that's what you want to do- you don't owe your job/employer anything.

I've done the interview... unfortunately won't get confirmation until next wk. I was honest but think this will not make me a favourable applicant as they are looking for someone to cover random patterns of shifts.
