Is university of reading good for math?

I heard university of reading is pretty good but it doesn't seem to rank high for math.

Not really, it isn't good for math. It's quite a bit worse than Newcastle

Dont rely on rankings they are meaningless. They change every year and are different depending on the body doing the tables.

Have a look at the course and the area. Is this a right fit for you. You can go to the top ranking university and hate it then end up leaving.

Do you research on the course, university and area and decide from there,
