Asking unis to change their offer?

I am starting to actually get some offers coming in and I do 4 subjects (3 a levels and 1 BTEC equiv)

But all my offers stipulate the 3 a levels which is a problem for me since I am likely not going to do very good in one of them

I am aiming for: Astar AB Distinction

But my offers are A*AA which will likely mean I won’t meet the offer

Can I ask unis to switch to their alternative BTEC offer? (I’ve made sure to apply to unis which would have a BTEC offer for my course)

What do you mean by 'alternative BTEC offer' - that they could have made you a '2 A level + BTEC' offer?
If that is listed on their website as a possible offer, then email that Uni and ask this question.
