I know people say not to look on internet but go on the NHS website and see if there is any help there. If the pain continues try and book a gp appointment in may be in a while but they can still help. Tbh it completely depends on where the pain is? Or what type of pain?

It always frustrating when you know someone is in pain but won’t do anything just make sure that she’s not having any other symptoms and try and keep talking about it. They’ll give in eventually. You could also call 111? The non emergency medical line but double check that’s the right one.

If the tests A&E do cone back clear theres nothing more they can really do unless theres urgent concern, which there likely isnt.
Best bet is to get a GP appointment.

A and e is for emergent problems GPs and specialists are for chronic issues. Best to see gp and ask for specialist referral.

gp says go ane, ane refers to sau, then thats it, its been cyclical . i mean imo , its impacting my moms life, severe and constant pain , preventing her from being able to do daily things , my mom takes alot of pain medication, and doctors are wary with prescribing meds , because moms on alot of meds. i dont know how , or what to say , who to speak with in terms of helping my mom get the help she needs. i mean its scary, because theres many scary illnesses that other close relatives have had, and i dont want my mom to develop this , idk if its just my gp , but my gps are very dismissive like i had a condition , the gp pretty much said it was me trying to get parents attention, turned out there was somethin wrong w my muscles.ik that was irrelevant but i wanted to say it to explain why i think my gps arent the best.im sorry about the long paragraph,

You can ask the GP for a referral to the hospital Pain Clinic, which is a Consultation led service that assists people living in constant pain. They will look at the causes of the pain and provide your Mum with a treatment package to help her manage and live with it.
