Work experience in year 10
I am in year 10 and would like to have a rough idea of the career that I want to do in the future so that I can choose the right A-levels at start start of year 11. I think that doing work experience can help me in finding a career that would suit me. I would be able to do work experience in the summer however I have some questions regarding it. Should I apply for work experience closer to the summer holidays or should I start looking for it now? I would want to do work experience in a variety of careers so that I can see which one suits me most. How long does work experience at a company last (e.g. a day or a week)?
