17 inch laptop for uni?

(keep in mind im doing a film production course and also do freelance editing online so i will be needing a powerful laptop)

i was worried that my laptop would be way too big to take into uni each day and use during lectures and whatnot, i was wondering if anyone else had experience with them during uni.

The LG Gram might be a reasonable compromise if you'd prefer something more lightweight. The obvious downside to this is that it is not as powerful as a heavier laptop with a beefy spec and a GPU. The 17 inch model also does not come with a touchscreen. If these are dealbreakers, then you will have to put up with a hot and heavy laptop, but they are a PITA to carry around on your back all day. They also have a poor battery life, whereas the LG Gram will keep going all day and runs cool.

At the end of the day, it is about weighing up your priorities.
