Can I change courses ??

I m a international student and I studied early childhood education for a year and wanted to change my course to bsc nursing. Can I do that because I have already stayed 1yr off my study visa??do I need to apply for a visa again if I did so??

It is likely that you will have to apply for a new visa if your new course isn't completed within the expiry date of your current visa. Are there any restrictions on your current visa regarding what you can study? Ask your uni for advice - there might be info on its website such as the following provided by Warwick uni:
