Scientist Training programme STP - Histopathology
Hi all,
I’m currently a 3rd student in Anatomy and Development BsC at Uni of Edinburgh. I’m really interested to apply for the STP specifically with the histopathology role in mind.
I was wondering if anybody had any advice on how to strengthen my prospective application? My degree isn’t accredited but I don’t know if that affects my chances of getting in.
I’ve heard that a lot of applicants will have done MsCs and PhDs so wanted to give myself a good chance. I currently don’t have any relevant work experience because I work full time at co-op. But my course is very hands on and I’ve done a lot lab based practicals with histology and cadavers.
Any help with what type of experience I should look for and where within Scotland would be amazing!
