Surrey Law Future Prospects

Hey, all I am currently in year 13 and i have decided on Surrey for law (LLB) due to it being A,B,B and taking some of the exam pressure off me. I love the course and especially the emphasis on the year in industry program, as I believe having some good work experience will give me a competitive advantage when applying for training places. However, my main concern currently is that Surrey is not a Russel Group and my main question is whether studying at Surrey will put me at a disadvantage when applying for training places in London?

Are Russel Groups really the only way to win training places in well respected law firms?

you can still definitely get into top firms without having gone to a non RG. Surrey also happens to be one of the better non RGs. get work experience, get a good grade
