Questions about doing a masters.

If I got to a lower tier uni to get my degree, is it possible assuming I do well at uni, to do a masters in a better uni is that possible? And will that beneficial to me in the future thanks
Yes its possible. Most masters degrees aren’t competitive and will accept anyone with a relevant degree and the ability to pay the fees.

Beneficial is difficult to judge without knowing what sort of difference you think it might make to your career prospects. Most people take a masters immediately after an undergrad degree because they want to specialise in a particular area. Most employers won’t care where you studied - they’re employing a person with a set of skills and knowledge not a piece of paper that evidences some of those skills/knowledge

Hi thanks, im planning to do economics, I'd imagine a masters would be beneficial in this case. In something like economics would it be better to resit alevels in attempt to get better grades to go to a better uni and not do a masters. Obviously its more expensive to get a masters but if it helps with employment, and is more attractive to employers id imagine its worth it. Basically what im saying is it better to

1.

resit a levels and try get into a higher ranked uni. or

2.

go to a lower tier uni and then do a masters
many thanks
