I would have no problem whatsoever. I dont mind sharing with an opposite member of the sex. As she is just another person (with a few anatmoical differences) I just say give her the respect and privacy she deserves and she does the same to you and everything shall be fine. If anythin you may know each other better as friends. People would be naturally apprehensive and prudish regarding this but as long as YOU have no undesired sexual thoughts then it is fine.

Although I'd personally have no problems about sharing a room with a guy, and getting changed in front of each other or whatever wouldn't be an issue, what is your gf's or dates supposed to think? You can hardly bring them round, it would be slightly awkward in that respect. And the thought of my bf seeing another girl naked every day would put me off.

Is it a long term thing or just until the summer?
