The Student Room Group

Does the new £21,000 student repayment threshold apply to previous graduates?

Currently im paying back 10% of earnings over £15,000 per month but will the threshold be raised to £21,000 for students who graduated before the increased tuition fee's begin?

I think you'll find it is 9%, not 10%, and things won't change as you are on the old scheme.

Thanks buddy.

Yep i know it's 9% but just makes it alot easier to round it up to 10%.

Gutted about the threshold though :frown:

What percentage will new graduates be paying back then?

Just be happy you aren't paying interest on it.
