The choice of university about Energy Master

I have had a scholarship to study master in UK. I have to be accepted to a universty about Energy Master.I have been trying to prepare a list of universty to apply but I have no idea which univerties are better about Energy Master degree .Can you give me advice ?

First of all, congratulations on getting a scholarship to study in the UK!

I'd like to tell you a little bit about the MSc Marine Renewable Energy programme on offer here at Plymouth University. Marine Renewable Energy is an emerging field with an increasing demand in expertise which graduates of this programme will develop during their time here.

Plymouth University has an international reputation for marine research and teaching. The marine renewables that the programme focuses on are the key emergent marine sectors: offshore wind, wave power and tidal power (both tidal barrages and tidal stream).

The programme is split into three stages:

Stage One

•

Introduction to marine renewable energy

•

Economics, Law and policy for marine renewable energy

•

Research skills and research methods

Stage Two
Three options from a choice of five:

•

Coastal impacts

•

Marine planning

•

Economics of the marine environment

•

Mechanics of marine renewable energy structures

•

Wave and current modelling for marine renewable energy

Stage Three
Research project and dissertation. Due to the extensive staff research expertise there is a wide range of potential projects spanning marine science, engineering and socio-economics. Projects may also be carried out with external organisations that have interests in marine renewable energy.

The programme in marine renewable energy provides a gateway into career in this growing industry by providing a broad background with the opportunity to specialise in environmental, engineering or socio-economics. Graduates will be well-qualified, not just for careers in the marine renewables sector, but also for careers in the broader renewables and marine environmental consultancy fields.

The entry requirements for this course ask that you have a good science or engineering degree (2:1 or above) or equivalent and students from overseas should achieve an average score of 6.5 or above in their IELTS.

Actually I have been searching which area of energy is better to find work UK or other country..
It can be Renewable Energy or Sustainable Energy

The course I'm doing at Edinburgh at the moment is good, and due to a slight change in what modules are compulsory looks like it will have better options next year.

Some of the companies you might of heard of (such as pelamis) were started out of Edinburgh and we have some true heavy weights of the field in the department.

Oh, and Edinburgh is ranked as one of the best universities in the world (#17 atm I think), has a great reputation and has just finished building a state of the art £9.5million wave tank.
