did you do the same courses?
I also repeated year 12, with different subjects, and got in through clearing this summer. Oh, and my course is Law if that makes any difference.
I took bio chem maths geog in y12, got a, uuu. Swapped to history, politics geog and lit and got AABB and i study here, so yes they do. As long as you explain why you are resitting, mine was taking the wrong subjects etc..
Hardly any unis do unless you're applying for med/dent/vetmed. Maybe Oxbridge and LSE do but not Sheffield.

No, I switched from sciences to essay based subjects. But I've had friends who repeated Year 13 doing all resits and still got offers from 'top' unis. (Birmingham, Southampton, Manchester)
